Parish office Closures
Our Parish Office follows the Monroe-Woodbury School District closure policy during inclement weather. If Monroe-Woodbury School District has a closure of a delayed opening due to weather, then our office will be closed or have a delayed opening.
Our office will be closed on Monday, February 17 in observance of President's Day

Ash Wednesday - March 5
Wednesday, March 5th marks the beginning of the Holy Season of Lent. Our Ash Wednesday schedule of Masses and Liturgy Services will be as follows:
- 6:00am - Liturgy of the Word at both Sacred Heart & St. Patrick Church
- 9:00am - Mass at Sacred Heart Church
- 12:00pm - Mass at Sacred Heart Church
- 4:45pm - Liturgy of the Word at Sacred Heart Church
- 7:00pm - Mass at both Sacred Heart & St. Patrick Church
Ashes will be distributed at all Masses and Liturgies of the Word.
As a reminder, Ash Wednesday is a day of Fasting and Abstaining from meat. Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59 are permitted to eat one full meal, as well as two snacks that together are not equal to a full meal. All Catholics 14 years of age and older are required to abstain from meat on Ash Wednesday. All Catholics age 14 year and up are required to abstain from meat on all Fridays of Lent.
Packets of ashes, along with a pamphlet of readings and prayers, will be available for anyone wishing to give ashes to a homebound family member or friend.
Our Ash Wednesday collection will go toward supporting our Parish Outreach Programs. -
Stations of the Cross
You're invited to join us for Stations of the Cross on March 7 and every Friday during the Season of Lent at Sacred Heart Church at 7:00pm. All are welcome to participate in this special devotion. -
Upcoming March Events
Sunday, March 2 - 62nd Annual Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner, doors open at 3pm. Tickets will be available at the Parish Office. Sponsored by the Monroe Knights of Columbus #2079.
Monday, March 10 through Wednesday, March 12 - Lenten Mission (Details to follow)
Saturday, March 15 - St. Patrick's Day Dinner. Event starts at 7pm at the St. Patrick Gym. Tickets on sale after the 10am Mass at St. Patrick Church. Sponsored by the Cardinal Egan Council Knights of Columbus #16334
